I have been so inspired recently by color!  It is having such a moment throughout interiors and fashion and although I love it, I often like to start off with a neutral base and then accent the way I like. So here are 6 easy ways to accent your space with vivid pops of color without spending a fortune on renovating rooms in your home.

Color 21- GREENS:  Add a bright floral pop or large green plant to your space. Color 62- LIGHTING: Instead of choosing a simple metal or neutral, go with a vibrant hue for your pendant or table lighting.  It is an unexpected yet really beautiful way to accent. 2015-08-14_00113- LINENS: Simple throws or blankets can literally transform a room, especially if they are as bright and striking as these examples! Color 104- REUPHOLSTER: Although it is not super cheap…sometimes the easiest and most rewarding way to spruce up a room is to re-cover your existing furniture with bright pattern or color.  Keep what you have a transform your space! Color 85- ARTWORK: I am such a fan of art and adding colourful pieces to a neutral space is possibly the easiest way to transform your space from simple to ultra chic. (For some affordable art sources check out this post). Color 56- BOOKS: Perhaps the easiest way to accent with color.  Try grouping your bools together by color to create a striking vignette.
